yet another train journey. yet another blog entry. i’ve been home the last 5 days. for onam actually. met with dili, deepak, pulli, vallyan, oy n joy. fasting month of ramzan has started. into the fifteenth day actually. people back in calicut say that i’ve lost weight and some say i’ve gained weight!! the fact of the matter is i dont know if i’ve lost or gained weight, n i dont care now

i saw the movie ‘into the wild’ again yesterday. it’s one hell of a tempting movie. and it keeps tempting all over again. leaving everything behind and going into oblivion, going away from the noise, going away from it all, on you own, into the wild. a very very tempting idea. i’d thought i wouldnt read any book for a long time to come, but i am planning to get the book that inspired that movie

sitting in this train, i got a call from a friend saying that there has been some communal riots in mangalore. some violence here and there, but still no clear picture. its kind of like going into the wild, only this time its wild because of the uncertainty of what is going to happen out there in the roads of mangalore. leaving a few snaps of the awesome trip to Anandka Waterfalls in mangalore. adios..

I’ve been away from blogging for quite a long time now.. Times i had a gprs connection, i dint feel like blogging.. Times i felt like it, i dint have a gprs con nection.. So i’m back with both in tact.. I’ll be posting often from now.. Loadsa reasons i was kept away from here.. Loadsa things happened during these days.. But right now, i’m sitting in a bus.. Waiting to go from calicut to trivandrum.. Back to the college.. Back to the hostel.. Back to the last and final regular exams of my btech course.. Back to the noise.. Its been a while since i’ve been brought down to earth by life’s happenings.. The sense of the word noise has changed tragically for me in the past few years.. It has nothin to do with sound.. It has got everythin to do with way of life.. N ryt now, i am going back to that way of life..
P.S: Anyone who reads, please excuse the irrelevent n non related sentences (bandhamillaima) in the post.. It was not intentional.. Its Just that my head is jammed..

Malabar Shopping Festival..

I came back home on the 20th.. Four exams have been postponed to january.. The malabar shopping festival starting today.. Crowded beach n heavy traffic.. Hehe.. Me n Raam in beach waitin for some other guys.. Nice cloudy sunset.. Nostalgia..

Just Another BIG Day!!

Today was big.. Not just big, but BIG! The cat exam teams as i said were all in calicut.. But i dint see anyone before the exam.. Cos i had to go to airport to pick up my sis in law.. So early mornin, went to karippoor.. Then there was a chocolate-bath at home.. She brought loads of chocolates n stuff.. N along came th e cat teams to my home for lunch.. First time my home was blessed with some feminine presence from college.. Hehe.. Of course it has happened before, i’m just e xaggerating it.. anjugo naaji aana n super singer kavi came home.. dr-ramesh’s parents came n she n minu went to them.. After lunch, i headed to the beach with the guys.. It was a fun day.. Pretty much..

I’m back home.. The cat exam is happening this sunday.. My sis in law is coming from singapore the same day.. Manu is gettin smart toys these days.. But even i dont have any clue wat this toy is for!!

This was a post i wrote on 7th september.. Posting now.. Hmmm.. I’ve been off this place a little while.. Primarily because the blogging software in my mobile was not workin properly.. Another reason was the work with the dhwani website n other things.. I’ve been doing frequent freelance designing nowadays.. Websites, logos, brochures, presentations n stuff.. But somethin thats worth doing comes only once in a while.. I’ve started walking without the crutches.. This pic was taken a week back.. Thought of posting then, but couldnt.. So i’m posting it now.. I’ll be going back to college some time in a few days.. Dhwani awaits.. Its gonna be great i guess, but i’m not very much excited about it.. I’ve grown fat.. Real fat.. Fasting month of Ramzan coming up.. Will have to try to reduce this FAT..
